5 Ways to Lead with Love

Updated: Sep 13, 2021

Anger. Joy. Hate. Love. All are passionate emotions and states of being. All have the ability to affect our well-being at every level. All have the potential to spread to other people and communities. All are powerful.

But all are not helpful.

Anger and hate are low vibrating emotions and states of being. When we exist in these low vibrating states for too long, we create an unhealthy environment for our minds, bodies, and spirits. It stresses our systems on every level. It's contagious, too. While it might not be possible to never experience feelings of anger or hate, it is possible to overcome these moments more quickly when you choose to lead with love.

My use of lead here really means to begin. To begin thoughts, to begin conversations, to begin actions, with love. Begin with love. Start from a place of love.

Lead with love.

So often I see people leading with anger and hate instead of love. Telling other people how to live their lives, calling people out, verbally attacking one another, triggered by anything, seeking things to feed their anger, wishing bad things upon others, the list goes on. I'm certain you see these things, too.

There is so much anger all around us, and perhaps within us, but it doesn’t have to be this way. I know what it’s like to be angry. I thought it was normal and that everyone else had the same feelings, but after diving deeper into healing and working on myself, I realize anger like this doesn’t exist for everyone and this anger did not help or benefit me in anyway. Through healing, my anger subsided and no longer consumes me. It’s an amazing feeling to experience something that might have once triggered me into a deep anger to now not feel enraged. I greatly prefer leading with love over having constant anger.

It Starts with You

Change always begins with individuals. Healing for whole communities begins at the individual level. When I transmute energy, I always say- adjust to the frequency of love or something better. I throw in the something better just in case another frequency might be more appropriate, but love is always part of the equation because it is a powerful healer. Just as anger and hatred can be contagious, so can joy and love. Embodying love, leading with love, can spread love outward beyond yourself. It will spread beyond you.

In this episode of SpiritualiTEA, I talk about leading with love. Leading with love helps us to remember people are people and to approach them accordingly. Leading with love helps facilitate healing. Leading with love has a powerfully positive effect on your mind, body, and spirit. Leading with love can help destroy and uncreate hurtful and harmful ways of doing things. Watch the video for the full discussion and a special exercise to raise your vibration at the end.
