My December YL Order

Updated: Dec 9, 2019

December Order

Hello, December! We're just coming off the amazing Black Friday and Cyber Monday specials in November. Did you get in on that?? I ordered two eye shadows and a blush from the Savvy Minerals chemical-free make up line, bottles of Lavender and Sacred Sandalwood, NingXia Red and my new obsession, NingXia Zyng. I'd love to hear what you got in the comments below.

Last month I was good and took care of some Christmas shopping by getting the delicious Chocolessence variety pack, but as things go, I have eaten some of those so I plan to make cute little gift bags with NingXia, too! On to my order for this month. The last few months I've been more focused on non-oil products, and now I'm almost out of a few necessities. Here's what I'm getting:

Melaleuca Geranium Bar Soap | This will honestly be the first time I've used Young Living soap. My family and many friends swear by this stuff, so I can't wait to try. Melaleuca and Geranium are both known to be great for your skin, so I decided to try this bar first.

Shutran Bar Soap | Shutran is a more masculine scent with oils like Idaho Blue Spruce, Cedarwood, Hinoki, and more. My boyfriend loves the Shutran Beard Oil, and I like the way it smells, so I figure the bar soap will be great, too!

Thieves Fresh Essence Mouthwash | This is on my order every couple months. Best. Mouthwash. Ever. For reals. You need this in your life.

Frankincense Essential Oil | I love the way this smells and it's great for skin, too. Try diffusing or apply topically to enhance spirituality or your meditation and yoga practices. Make Frankincense part of your beauty regiment to maintain radiant skin. I also like to add the Vitality version of Frankincense to my daily shot of NingXia Red.

Grapefruit Essential Oil | Grapefruit is one of my favorite essential oil smells. It is so refreshing, sweet, and uplifting. This one can also be used for its skin cleansing properties. The Vitality version tastes yummy in beverages and is also good when taken in a capsule with Peppermint and Lemon essential oils.

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil | I love the scent of Ylang Ylang. It' floral aroma is pleasant, but not overbearing. My boyfriend actually rubs a drop of this over his chest every night at bedtime. It is calming, balancing, and romantic. Try diffusing or making your own linen spray.

Freebies: Lemon Essential Oil, Northern Lights Black Spruce and

Nutmeg Vitality | Each month certain orders qualify for free products. I'll be getting these oils for my order this month.

Lemon is a must have. It's one of the oils we go through most quickly. I love beginning my day with a few drops of Lemon Vitality in a cup of hot water. You can also clean with Lemon, make your own sugar scrubs or creams for bright looking skin, or try diffusing for a fresh, uplifting aroma.

Northern Lights Black Spruce has a rich and woodsy aroma that smells amazing. We discovered this oil during the Peace & Calming shortage and would diffuse in my son's room at bedtime. This oil also comes from Young Living's very own Northern Lights farm in British Columbia.

Nutmeg Vitality is great for cooking. I recently made this recipe and substituted Nutmeg Vitality in place of the nutmeg, and it was delicious! I did two toothpick swirls, and next time I would do a full drop. You probably want to try this for your upcoming holiday parties! I've also used when baking molasses cookies.

So what are you ordering this month? Are you getting stuff for yourself? Are you buying or making Christmas gifts for others? Remember Young Living makes wonderful gifts!
